By allowing gamers and service providers to participate in our unique mining process, we will create an ultra-fast, blockchain controlled multiplayer infrastructure rentable by developers.
Why the multiplayer game?
Games with multiplayer aspects keep players engaged longer. Real-time first-person shooters usually have single and multiplayer modes, and adding multiplayer modes can increase the average number of hours of play by up to a factor of 7.
Wasted computer resources
Much of the computing power and bandwidth of personal computers and leased servers is not being used to its full potential. Server plans that are not exactly right, requiring you to subscribe to a plan higher than necessary, or the overpowered computer owner who uses it to browse the web, write documents and the occasional game of candy are special examples.
Multiplayer functionality can be painful and expensive to integrate
Writing your own network code can be complicated and time consuming. Managing your own servers can be just as complex and expensive. As game developers, we understand that the more time you have to devote to the creative side of the game, the better.
The incentive of the players can be difficult
Without proper incentives, players can quickly become bored with a potentially awesome game. The integration of multiplayer will be useful, but another level of incentive, especially with regard to income generation, could go much further. Unfortunately, this could be a very expensive feature as developers should fund it.
It’s not a fair fight
Players are waiting for a fair match and a good challenge. Unfortunately, most of them do not get it. Cheating or breaking twinning mechanisms ruins whole gambling communities. Players become unmotivated, stop spending on content and the full economic potential of the game is missed.
Massive games require massive infrastructure
An infrastructure limited to launching the game can turn a good game into a failure. Network latency or downtime kills the gaming experience and optimizes resource efficiency makes game development more and more expensive. The resulting loss of revenue and loss of reputation is significant. The Xmas DDOS 2014 attack on Sony is a particularly infamous example.
Any of the issues mentioned above can be solved or greatly improved by the network unit platform.
Turn waste into treasure
There is a lot of processing power and unused bandwidth, Network Units intends to use it in a decentralized, blockchain-controlled infrastructure used for multiplayer gaming that is cost effective and reliable.
Multiplayer functionality can be easier and cheaper to integrate
With our easy to integrate, Unity Asset developers can be freed from complex network code writing and the infrastructure that manages it. It will be available on Unity Asset Store, a very popular third-party market for Unity Engine.
Players can extract chips by playing
Network units are unique in that their verification process rewards players who link their portfolios to their gaming accounts with tokens, as they help verify service providers. Not only does this help improve the number of active users, but it can also attract new players in your game who are looking for new ways to extract tokens and have a lot of fun in the process.
A reputation system
The network unit framework will include an integrated inter-platform reputation system. In this way, when you are a collaborative player in a game, it is likely that you will be associated with collaborative players in all the games you play on the NU infrastructure.
Network units are decentralized
Because the NU platform is decentralized, we can offer a more resilient solution that is supported by its automatic failover in case of disaster or deliberate malfeasance. This ensures that players are easily moved to a new provider so that their games can continue uninterrupted.
Masternodes / Service Providers
Masternodes will be needed to provide a pile and run the host application, This host application will serve queries based on our multiplayer framework, The masternodes can serve as relays for other masternode hosts and take over as a new host in the event of a failure. Masternodes will also be responsible for peer verification. Customers (players with connected wallets) will also verify that they are actually providing their resources.
Gamers / Active Customers
Active customers are players who connect their portfolios to their game using the NU multiplayer framework. This allows them to participate in our background verification process. This not only makes the infrastructure stronger and more reliable, but active customers can earn tokens to participate in this process.
Proof of service
Masternode / Service Provider Audit
Online verification is requested at a node by a random number of verification nodes that will attempt a minor network function by the service provider application installed on the node. An incompatibility or a timeout results in the termination of the verification node (s) using our Smart Agreement. This will be triggered by the service provider application.
Not only is the reputation affected, but setting Nodes (NU Tokens) can also be affected. In the case of a check where the result is negative (where the result is not the same as the majority), the player will be penalized for his bet and his reputation. If the result is positive (the majority of the nodes check with the same result), the node will receive the reputation and in some cases the NU tokens.
The verification is performed randomly between the nodes or on request
Several nodes are involved in the verification process
The reputation may be affected by the verifier and the verification applicant
The reputation is positively influenced by the duration without complaints (positive) and negatively with complaints (negative)
Waiting times, dishonesty and bad knots count for a negative reputation.
Active client verification
Active customers are players who connect their portfolios to their gaming accounts. This is done through our dashboard rather than the game itself in order to avoid potential problems with the gaming markets. The game will provide a unique code that the user can submit to our smart contract in order to be rewarded for playing. In the background, the client will add another layer of verification that works very similar to the peer verification described above.
